Rome is like a souvenir pic, like a renaissance painting and even better, is the quintessence of Romanticism. For this reason we left you with some special spots, the most romantic places for a rendezvous in Rome (vol.1). But you know, an article is not enough, so here we are with the second part of our article:

Lungotevere
The River Tiber has a tremendous charm, with its numerous and characteristic bridges that at night seem like jewels around the dark body of the river. The Lungotevere, that is the long promenade along the Tiber, presents various remarkable points, but maybe the most beautiful and scenographic is the one by the Tiber Island. If you like love padlocks you can’t miss also Ponte Milvio, another classy and beautiful spot for your love meetings.

Basilica di S. Pietro

The Fountain of the Lovers
The Trevi Fountain, most famous and iconic fountain of Rome, as well as one of Italy’s greatest splendors, today has increased its beauty once again, after it was restored thanks to Fendi, revealing its emerald waters and white stones. But maybe very few people know that on the right side of the fountain there is a rectangular bowl with two little pipettes: the fountain of lovers. Well, legend has it that couples drinking by this little fountain will be in love and faithful forever.

Fontana di Trevi

Capitoline Hill
We don’t want to talk about the Square neither the view on Piazza Venezia. Instead behind Capitoline Hill, going through the road used by cars to climb up the hill hosting Rome’s town hall, the view on the Imperial Fora is enchanting. Its beauty is doubled, perhaps, if you go there at sunset hour, why not, with a bottle of Prosecco and two wine glasses. We think your loved one won’t forget this view, this magic, this unique moment.

Monti
The last stop of our romantic tour foresees an entire neighborhood, a “Rione”, Rione Monti. Once it used to be popular, but nowadays is one of the cores of the Roman movida, trends and hangout. All the district is incredible, with is steep alleys covered in cobblestones, decadent but elegant houses covered with ivy, boutiques, trattorias and wine bar where to savour the traditional aperitivo. Don’t forget the notable and ancient churches like Santa Maria dei Monti, Santa Prassede and San Pietro in Vincoli and as final spot to chill and relax Piazza della Madonna dei Monti.
